The dbupdate utility has been superseded in current versions of F-Secure Linux Security by the F-Secure Automatic Update Agent (fsaua).  If you are experiencing this problem, you are running an obsolete version of F-Secure anti-virus and should upgrade.


Earlier versions of F-Secure anti-virus software than those discussed in this document are obsolete and do not have a guaranteed uninterrupted virus signature update path. L-Soft STRONGLY RECOMMENDS that LISTSERV sites running upgrade LISTSERV to the latest supported version, after which the latest supported version of F-Secure Anti-Virus can be applied.
