Get Started
When you log in to the Maestro interface, you will see the dashboard, which is your hub for managing all of your email marketing campaigns.

 All mail jobs, subscriber lists and reports are available on the dashboard for quick and easy access. You can also see the jobs that are due next, making it easy to set priorities.

Create and Customize
Create your lists and customize the settings to fit your needs. Those with prior LISTSERV subscriptions can use lists they have already established. Integrate with your databases, email contact lists and more.

 You can create any number of profile fields for your lists and create sophisticated target groups based on your subscriber profiles and demographic data.  LISTSERV Maestro is a multi-user platform and allows you to assign different roles and tasks for your team members, including content creation, tracking decisions and testing.

Start Your Mail Job
Click "New" and select the type of mail job you'd like to start. You will be provided with an easy, step-by-step job creation process.

 The pulldown navigation menu allows you to start a new mailing or to access your subscriber lists, email templates and reports.  Once you begin your job, LISTSERV Maestro will walk you through a clear step-by-step process.

Define Recipients
Choose recipients based on demographic information or interaction with previous mailings. Or simply send to previously established LISTSERV lists. The options are endless.

 The built-in subscriber warehouse allows you to see how your lists have grown over time and how many people have joined or left your list.  You can easily create a variety of demographic reports of your subscribers and define target groups based on this data.  You can also conduct drip marketing campaigns by setting up new mailings based on interactions with previous mailings.

Design
Craft your newsletters from scratch or customize one of the built-in email templates. Design reusable headers and footers with company logos and links for future mailings.

 The template library in LISTSERV Maestro comes with more than 75 HTML newsletter and announcement templates.  The templates offer a variety of layout styles and color schemes that can be used as-is or modified according to your needs.  The integrated content editor makes it easy to create newsletters without any coding knowledge. The fully responsive message templates adjust to screens of any size, providing a smooth and enjoyable reader experience.

Choose Tracking
Select the type of tracking you wish to use. You can track opens, clicks, conversions and even how many people shared your content on social media.

Test and Send
Send formal test messages of your newsletter to your own email addresses for quality control before you schedule the delivery of your mailing.

 Add your social media accounts for time-saving simultaneous postings. Your subscribers can even share your messages with their followers through their own social networks.  Work efficiently by creating your mailing ahead of time and scheduling its delivery for a future date and time.

Analyze
After your mailing has been sent, check your tracking statistics in real time. See who opened your email, how many people clicked on embedded links and shared your content on social media. Use this information to frame future campaigns.

 The LISTSERV Maestro tracking reports include details about open, click, bounce and unsubscribe rates.  You can create virtually any type of custom report and compare the results of multiple mailings over time.  The multidimensional tracking reports can show average rates per month, week, day, or even day of the week or hour of the day, allowing you to pinpoint optimal delivery times to reach your subscribers.  The click-rate visualization reports are heatmap-style reports and show which links attracted the most attention visually, allowing you to analyze the effectiveness of your chosen layout and presentation.
